I really don't like the other girls in that series they feel so unnecessary to have crushes on the main character. Like the main character in The Witch clearly like each other already the only thing these girls are here for is the delay it as much as possible when they were practically dating already.

It also really sucks because now the male lead is almost forced to be with a female friends except the main love interest all the time now. Literally the past nine chapters have been all about the female friends and the main love interest is just a side character.

The petting zoo date felt like the sort of unhinged gag chapter you'd start to see once a manga's been axed but since then the story's been trying and failing to course correct.

I think the premise of the story is sweet but I personally feel we might've gotten all we need from it; the reveal of the two reincarnators, their intertwined fates, and giving half their lives to each other. Easy, adorable.

Everything else so far, while cute, has been pointless or even frustrating, and I say this as a huge fan of Kawasaki's antics.
