I think the "monsuta" portion of "Summonsutatto" is likely to be a pun as well, considering that "Tamon" is probably a contraction of "Tights monster" after the popular Digimon naming convention.

You'd be right, although I can't imagine something like "Summonstert" would read great in English. I really wish the title had just been Summonstart, that probably could've passed... stupid ッ ruining everything.
As for Tamon, I actually considered changing its name to Taimon, even if English readers don't read Tights as beginning with Ta-I. Sounded slightly better to me, but I don't really like changing things, so I just stuck with the standard, very-Digimon name lol
