He was legitimately treated like shit and the perpetrators feeling bad about it after the fact doesn’t change what he endured all alone throughout all those years. Nobody needs to be surrounded by people that betrayed or mistreated them. Who’d want those constant reminders? Why would he trust them now anyway? In his view it’s more likely that they’re lying to give him hope before crushing him again.

He should go grow fruit away from these people. Let them feel let down and abandoned for a change. He needs a fresh start, not a lifetime of making dogshit people feel better about themselves.

imo, its because 2 things.
1. Yukito (the MC) at his core has always been a person that actively cares for those that are around him and don't want to be the one causing the trouble. This shows when he actually "disappeared" when his sister told him to when they were kids, when he saved his classmate which cause him to injured his arm, when he volunteers to help his neighbor,...... so on so forth. Which leads to now In the current chapter he is helping the class and his teacher who were caught in this cheating allegations.
2. This started a couple of chapters back. But he has actually started to open up more to the main girls that wronged him. Both the childhood friend and the classmate pour their hearts out to him, one even got naked. His Mom and his sister also made more of an effort to be closer to him, one even got naked (it's weird but it is what it is)
Which leads to now, tho he still haven't change how he view himself to be a loner and disposable. And while him leaving is also a form of him helping, by taking all the bs with, sparing the class and the teacher. He realized now that he doesn't need to keep shunning himself away and it's better to work with other people. And tbh, i think this is better, clearly the manga is introducing "new" villains and to just keep having to circle back to each person can be exhausting. And him working together w other people will probably bring better results in his revenge going from the last panel.

It’s crazy that a single anonymous letter could cause a serious accusation, not to mention that MC is not even directly named in there. Someone should just send another letter saying that a teacher molests a student and let the chaos ensue.

On another topic, is it just me, or is the slight change in the art style recently looks kinda bad? The art style of this manga is not that great from the start but I actually kinda liked it, but now most of the eyes are too small and a bit too spaced to the middle or something. It especially affects the eyes of the girls, though at least it doesn’t affect the MC much because of his signature hollow dead fish eyes, but it also does get smaller too
