I went to the last scan group leader and asked if they were still working on this series, but said he dropped it cause another scan group claimed they started working on it first, which is cool...but they don't upload on MD, but on their site for some reasons I don't know...
it might be an old armor he used when he was younger, so it's closer to her size, or armor is magical and it adapts to its wearer.....I know a lot of people are probably going to comment about how this guy has now been blacklisted despite being literally the only SSS rank member by a random receptionist but I'm more curious about how the MC thinks armor he got for himself will fit this teenage girl? Unless he's just storing armor her size for some reason?
So a bit of a spoiler warning
in the web novel she gets a fair amount of early on story time. We find out that she took that position because it was expected of her. That is to say that she was always pushed to find stable employment because her dad lived through a bad recession. So she went into civil services in order to have that kind of stability. She also thought that it would make them proud. But it turns out what they actually wanted from her was for her to be happy. So as part of her repentance, she eventually becomes an adventurer herself and turns out to be rather good. She, unlike the other guy, was redeemable and she becomes better as a result.
Story definitely feels like a 20 year olds first attempt at writing a novel. But this stuff sells so I'm happy the writer is finding some manner of success.
Well, that escalated quickly.
First thing in the morning, an elite staff has an authority to revoke the top ranker's license.
Now a mere receptionist is suddenly able to blacklist the said former top ranker for life.
What's next, a doorman or a janitor suddenly having the authority to kill blacklisted adventurers at his own sole discretion despite being trigger-happy?
Just imagine the dialogue: “I've come to accompany a novice adventurer getting an admission permit…” — “You know what, man, not just Kaori, but the whole world would be better without you, and I've got this guild-provided anti-materiel rifle that conveniently negates your invisible 50-million-worthy magic armor. Say your last words!”
Would be totally believable at this point if not for the plot armor.
Because of drama. He did it for the drama. Is he stupid? Why doesnt he talk back bro
Pls spoil me on the fallout. I need it.I'll just say that the fallout is incredibly satisfying for all these bitches and at least this one has a pretty decent redemption.
Let me know if anyone wants detailed spoilers. I've read up to ch 119 (vol 4)
We'll keep it, that's for sure.@wallenwhatsit012 so now that the full ch2 is out, you guys are planning to keep this subch or delete it? Curious.
Sure!Pls spoil me on the fallout. I need it.
He never does. That's his entire character. Universe does the revenge instead for some retarded reason. Probably so he doesn't look like a cruel person? Some stupid shit like that but ignoring all this assholes will just make the next guy's situation (who is not a multi billionaire) infinitely more difficult. So he comes out even worse than a cruel asshole. Is he stupid? Why doesnt he talk back bro
