The writing revolving around such degenerate characters as the effeminate trying to latch onto Sandai is always senseless: the effeminates in question get upset about being regarded as female, feminine, or not masculine enough--but they do nothing at all to stop it. They keep androgynous (or outright feminine) hairstyles, they dress femininely, and they maintain feminine physical mannerisms to name three. This guy is even worse: he pretends not to understand the limits of personal interaction, and what crosses over from platonicity into sexual territory.

The author probably has this effeminate unaware of this (as he is of everything else, apparently), but there's a limit to innocent ignorance: you have to be either stupid or deceitful to maintain such behavior, especially at that age.
