My guess is that "boyfriend" is the one who talk with Banri at phone with pushy attitude. I mean, at previous ch, she constantly apologizing just because she's a little bit late to pick up the phone. Like heck, that's not even a minute and he already get mad like she's not answering the phone for one week.

And yeah, he looks kinda fishy. With his posture and appearence, how he interact when he met Banri and Arata, etc etc. I wouldn't say he is a stalker and blackmailed her to date with him. But he looks like a possesive and self centered boyfriend.

Feel free to add to it (and comment if it gets confirmed, if would be amusing):
Banri loves MC just like the other sisters, but as the older one, she kept it bottled trying to be mature and not make their siblinghood awkward.
She probably got a boyfriend at some point trying to move past her feelings for MC, so she chose this guy who I assume was a smart kind dude she considered would be a nice boyfriend. (He probably confessed first)
But their relationship went nowhere. Assuming the guy isn't a douche (which seems the case a bit here) there's a chance he noticed she didn't love him and that made their relationship get strained, so maybe he broke with her or probably is thinking on doing it.
It could explain why Banri looked so insecure, saying "he is my boyfriend" as a question. Because their relationship is in their worst moment.
