Hope this turn into a series.
The pov switch concept is pretty good and would be better if it going to be like more detail gore on the human side while cartoony gore on the undead side.
Also could be a slice of life genre or should I say slice of death…..
I’ll show myself the door

This is under the assumption zombies don't need food to survive. In which case, yes, they're perpetual machines of free energy and turning all humans into zombies is better.

But that being said, it would be like "what if all of humanity went infertile but became immortal" since I'd assume zombies can't reproduce without non-zombie humans.

Also curious what it takes to kill a zombified human.

Either busting the brain or nothing. If the brain is no longer what's running the body and it just magically works, then it's welcome to the world of "it sucks staying alive and conscious even when dismembered and thrown into a pit of zombie body parts".

good thought. i might add, this depiction of zombies still hasn't convinced me that there is nothing that would prevent zombie power relations leading to zombie-capitalism and zombie-exploitation. in the most pessimistic view, not even transcending natural needs might be enough to prevent it.
