Anyone here about the Sinder Drama. I never really liked her that much, she really just has this sexy voice which made her a poor choice for me. I like a little more substance; NEVERTHELESS, I know there are a lot of Pyropups, and I can't imagine how they're feeling.
Shylily blew up on Sinder via the X! Shylily! Filian's already started making fun of Sinder! You reap what you sew. What is more, apparently Neuro predicted this. Vedal's AI is getting out of hand!
I wonder if anyone from Vshojo know about what happened, I think Ironmouse said something, dunno about Zen.

Beyond controversy: I did start watching Henya recently, and Nyana both for their Oblivion content. I don't usually watch streams at all unless a new raid in WOW releases. I was watching Zen for a bit, I need to get back to that. I'm still watching Milkywayz so why not!

I’ll miss goobidyba but that final live was a bit, lacklustre which sucks for her and the fans. Personally I think the Ash Again video was finished and she just went, great I’m out, which didn’t give Hololive a lot of time to give her the send of she deserved.

Apparently not even her gen mates knew the exact day the graduation announcement would go up, just that it was happening soon. Obviously we can't know for sure but considering one of the reasons she quit was because of the anxiety of becoming one of the biggest vtuber, I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted a smaller graduation, just playing games and talking with gen mates before ending with the mini concert thing

I can just imagine the panic at the office. They already most likely had their hands filled with Shion and Mumei and then add in Gura as a most likely last minute addition. They can't fumble this one, but most likely didn't have the time to really do everything they would've like to do for Gura. Not to mention the sharky probably wasn't in the best condition to do all the traveling and so on required for an actual graduation they'd want to throw at her.
I was actually surprised they even managed what they did, instead of her just popping up for a few streams and then saying good bye and silently swimming off into the horizon.

With this I hope things stabilise. It's actually a miracle how few have left Hololive over the years, if you don't count the ones that got fired due to mistakes/breaches/china.

Still overall, it's a good thing that Vtubing wasn't just a blib on the trend radar and has really forged its own niche in the entertainment market. Even if said market is still turbulant and not without its own mishaps and drama, especially in the western sphere.

Hello and welcome to Oversimplified Vtuber News.

Last month is the month of graduations.

This month is the month of cancellations.

• Sinder and REDACTED getting cancelled for allegedly talking shit about other vtubers behind their backs. To quell the outrage, she fired her manager/boyfriend, REDACTED and release an apology article. It didn't work. Other vtubers such as Shylily, Silvervale, Nanoless (the person that started this whole thing) etc. release a bunch of google docs detailing their conversations with Sinder and RED. It's pretty damning to say the least.

• While a bunch of indie vtubers were bickering with one another, some trans-arsehole decided to release a slanderous article on Kirsche (while she was taking a vacation btw) on VICE (already a red flag). She/He/It say that Kirsche is a white supremacist and vtubing is a problem due to the existence of vtubers like Kirsche. A bunch of clinically insane, terminally online people decided to spread this LIE to social media platforms like Twitter. And pretty much causing her to loose her video game sponsorship (the game got review bombed so hard as it turns out most players of that game are her fans). To counter this, Kirsche released both physical and digital copy of her response to the VICE HQ and for everybody to read. She asked that VICE should take down those articles or she will threaten them with legal action. VICE removed all those articles from their website.

• Terminally online people exist and they are the worst. Remember those terminally online people that tried to cancel Kirsche. Turns out they were also targetting other vtubers for having "right-wing" views. Two of those vtubers were Squ-chan and Kitsunero. Both of them were cancelled because their post on Twitter and YouTube were too "extreme" apparently. Squ-chan and Kitsu's post is something like "loving and respecting men". Yeah, pretty mundane and actually nice for once. Unfortunately, we live in a world where misandry being more commonplace, particularly in online spaces. So, these "feminists" went after Squ-chan and Kitsunero (Kitsunero got doxxed as well). Fortunately, along came the form of Asmongold, the Bald Roach King himself and ShoeonHead along with their respective fans to save the day by giving support to both Squ-chan and Kitsunero. These terminally online "feminists" were pushed back, for now.

There are more Vtubers that are getting cancelled but due to me being overwhelmed by the previous graduations and the sudden attempts of cancelling of vtubers, I didn't get to cover them all. Most of these are still ongoing and more information probably will come out soon, hopefully. Anyways, if there are any corrections or if you want to add more info, feel free to do so.

Kirsche going in cosplay to deliver the legal threats was the height of comedy, that is exactly why everyone loves her! And then the Ana Valens exposé.... Why would you try to cancel anyone with such a horrendous past? It was like an elaborate suicide attempt.
Strangely appears to have been much like Kirsche hirself in xir youth, which only lends credence to the jealousy hypothesis. (Wrote for a gay SF mag called The Flounce against SJWs)
No idea what happened after the closure of the magazine for them to flip on their political position. It had very little online presence unfortunately, I can't find much about it, not even years of operation, I can't get any further without finding an editor who can say more.
My guess is that magazine came out to try and push back against the coastal cult and the corruption of media, but it was already too embedded in SF pride culture.
