Ahh yes, the most common ace experience, feeling out of place and wondering if you were doing something wrong by existing. Yeah I guess ojisan can be translated as uncle but I’ve seen it translated as “old man” a few times even if it’s not intended to be super old, tho idk how many ppl call others uncle versus mister tho I guess more common in Asian honorifics

I think I recall in the first chapter he was described as a non-regular employee, with the translation note saying it means he doesn't work as many hours as a standard employee. So I assume he's either a part-timer who works fewer days a week or a temp worker that only comes into the office when they need him to.
