Checked the WN. It isn’t on novelupdates sadly, but seems like there’s three volumes out in Japan (err of the LN?) most recent one came out on May 20th.

Based on the descriptions/summaries/images this seems like it’s going to get interesting. Weirdly enough though—I’m pretty sure the other childhood friend on the cover of volume 1 had white hair not red hair—so I’m especially confused that it was a plot point in this chapter and that she was drawn with red hair… 🤷‍♂️

I think the slime may have retained its memories too. In chapter 1 he says how the slime learned how to drink tea from a cup and in chapter 2 it shows the slime moving towards a full cup of tea, two pages later the slime is next to an empty cup.
