there are some speedrunning strats that involved picking a girl over a boy though I've never encountered it due to a pattern set by an opponent but I'm sure that's a thing somewhere

one such case of what I mentioned above is pokemon...gen2 was it? in one of the pokemon games, they choose the girl because when you choose the boy, the girl talks longer so picking the girl shaves off time because the boy isn't as talkative.
