I maintain that this is a pointlessly stupid arc premise. What exactly does it prove if the reject class does win anything, given that the only reason it's happening at all is because the top 3 in the school used their influence to force it to happen? It hardly proves merit to follow along in someone else's footsteps

I stand by what I said several chapters ago, the Gen-ed class is entirely in the right for wanting to go to a different school where they aren't constantly having it force-fed how 'inferior' they are. It's nothing but selfish ego for the haves to use the have-nots as a tool to make themselves feel better

Kazu team let’s go
"Gee Kazuki, how come your mangaka lets you have TWO kisses with the male lead?"

Unlikely to happen, but that would be hilarious. Imagine the ensuing seething from Nico and Miwa.

This situation would be truly abject if this were real life, but it's a manga.
We'll probably just see the classic trope of the unassuming weaklings using the power of friendship to surpass the raw talent of the more self-satisfied geniuses.
Or much like Yuu, the gen ed department will find a different way to make themselves special and indispensable, even in the eyes of the geniuses.

yeah I don't want to see that trope in this kind of environment :)) I mean the genius here make it this far because they try their hardest and the massive potential of them like how we already see the emperor crushing the student of other school anyway :))

If only the emperor and that girl don't carry them all the way like this :))

The main difference being this isn't your standard competition decided solely by skill or physical or mental ability, but a high school cultural festival.
It's going to be judged by an entire crowd of people, over each person's subjective criteria.
I can easily see the "geniuses" getting caught up in their own hubris and losing this competition to the more humble and earnest normies.

Coaching and encouraging, I'd rather say.
"Carrying" would imply they'd do nearly all of the actual work and setup.
