What hard working kids.

I've a theory. Characters like the cat kid always in third person using their own names, but the author decided to remove that and forgot to make other refer to her by name, or she was added after the fact as a cute mascot. either way, it's still funny

That fence is still pretty weak tho :v
A stone wall would make more sense, assuming they can use magic to gather the dirt around and whatnot (can't recall if any of them can do that, but it figures the MC can...If not, he can just use his item-box to gather boulders from the forest, yo)

Also, they managed to build up that barn real fast, g'damn.

I guess the new wolves are all free to come and go as long as Queen's with them (and her invisible red sash).

I like to think one day they'll be able to help the rest of the orphaned kids with no place to go in the town. It's kinda like the MC is setting up the safety net the current lord doesn't want to, for his community.

MC will gain quite the reputation in the Guild for taming a whole wolf pack.

More wolves? Sure, why not? Well I guess no one can mess with the kids now that there's 10 wolves hanging around lol

As much as a wooden wall is weaker than stone, stone would be more labor intensive to work with.
And I'm probably remembering it wrong or mixing another series into my mem recall.
MC is most likely hiding most of his powers while allowing the others to gain the needed skills they'd need to survive with. (Hence building the stable first as practice)

I can't recall any mention of good stone quarries mentioned so far, so timber from the forest is easier and cheaper.

Is it just me or is that plot of land actually not huge at all?
I'd put the size somewhere between a badminton- and a basketball court.

Even if I'm underestimating the dimensions a bit, they still want to use it to build a 20-person lodging house + garage + backyard*.
... yeah ... really not huge at all.

* Oh, and I forgot about the stables, even.

Fences like that are sturdier than you'd think...
Most of the Motte-and-bailey castle walls were constructed like that, as well as mobile "pallet fortresses" well into the 15th century.

Done it quite often as a re-enactor, but storming a "mere" 2m+ tall wooden fence that's actively defended is.... tricky...
Especially if the defenders have long pointy sticks they can poke you with.

And the kids have Woofs.... So even if you manage to climb over it, or break through it, you'd have to deal with murderfluffs that got disturbed in their Naptime...
