In Japan you cannot get divorced without both spouses' agreement.

If one party doesn't agree to a divorce, you need to take it to court. But the court has strict rules for what warrants a divorce (it's actually specified in the civil code). Unless there is something like proven infidelity, abuse, abandonment or something that clearly makes the marriage not work, the court can literally just force you to stay married.

It also seems like her husband is a mostly emotional abuser who's smart enough to not leave evidence. Plus she's young and every manga I've ever read makes it seem like there's a stigma to divorce & the manga hasn't yet gotten into why she married him.
ETA: also curious if this gets resolved by her taping her husband.

Based pure-hearted Gomi . See? he's not a degenerate after all! Nearly all men would react to Yumezora saying that she's married by being like "what?" but then just not thinking about it and start kissing her and taking off her clothes anyway.
But Gomi's heart is pure!
lol this is a bit hard to reconcile with Gomi being someone who fucks prostitutes and jerks off to rape hentai , but whatever it's funny.

I have mixed but mostly negative feelings towards this reveal.
On the one hand it answers why Yumezora was so flirtatious to Gomi on the first after-work drinks.
On the other hand it feels so much more mundane and boring and a waste of potential for Yumezora to just have had a crush on Gomi all along because of a prior romantic meeting.
IT would have been much better and more intriguing if Yumezora turned out to be a weird, freaky girl who became interested in Gomi BECAUSE of him jerking off to her pads .
Also it feels too convenient. So he happens to have an encounter with a gorgeous woman that makes her instantly have a crush on him, fine, but that same gorgeous woman also just so happens to have a husband who is usually away and cold to her and has no sexual interest? Come onnnnn! almost any man married to yumezora is going to want to bang her multiple times a week until she's knocked up, I don't care how busy his job is.
It almost feels like the author changed his idea for the manga after starting it.

I don't know how much more interesting the rest of the manga will be. Hopefully the author will do some more surprises but I'll like them more.
