This makes me worried. I heard the manga was struggling a bit a while back. Hopefully this isn't the end game scenario....a "Karen Deluge"? Okay That I did not expect. I assumed we would keep to the "One Karen per arc" bit for a while.
Nobody has said it's been struggling, the author just asked people to buy the volumes to make sure it keeps going.I heard the manga was struggling a bit a while back.
That is a common way for mangaka to say that their story may be in trouble without outright saying it.Nobody has said it's been struggling, the author just asked people to buy the volumes to make sure it keeps going.

Eh, I could say that maybe the author is doing this to differentiate it from 100GFs? I think that our tendency to read a ton of manga have impeded our judgment over whether a manga’s arcs are due to it being cancelled or whether the author just… wanted to do it that way.Yeah, this is screaming "I've run out of time to introduce all the other ones slowly, so here's all the other ones at once so we can rush to the end unification."
The third volume is scheduled for release this winter, and while this does look like it could be the setup for wrapping things up, "struggling" would be speculation either way and not something anyone's confirmed. That is a common way for mangaka to say that their story may be in trouble without outright saying it.
