She would need to get a new (dead) body for that like that faction that worships the evil spirit she has it in her. Not sure if Maruyama or anybody would like that.
But I can see their dad mellowing out for Shiraishi and dealing only with her evil spirit.

I would honestly be okay with that too, in that it would make for extremely interesting conflicts. More likely her being the “chosen one” will be the author’s out re: resurrection.

Hopefully not though, we’ve already established that things can be given directly to the dead and the dead can freely operate among living people. There is enough permeability between life and death in this universe that there’s a surprising solution in there somewhere.

A resurrection seems too fantastical a happy ending. It would have to be something closer to like Arashi figuring out how to touch Shiraishi and being together that way. I can already think of something like putting himself on the altar as an offering like with the clothes and then can astral project with shiraishi dragging him out or something. Despite my heart wanting love to prevail, I think what the story should do is tragic/bittersweet where shiraishi does pass on. We shouldn't cling to the dead, such is life.

The ending is gonna tear me apart... i can only see everyone moving on unless her real body is still in a coma somewhere

The dad might not vaporize her since she has an abundant amount of life energy. Using Jrpg logic she might be a god or something
