Yeah, downforce is usually used in the context of racing cars, it's what the wings are for... No idea how it relates here.

Erika's false accusation could just straight up ruin Yukito's life in a big way.

And I'm willing to bet Mutsuki/the Prez has told Erika multiple times that she's grossly misinformed about the truth of things (at least that's the vibe I get her, dunno if it's been explicitly shown before now and can't go back and check) - so this is some entitled chick abusing her connections to powerful people to unilaterally majorly mess up another person's future on what amounts to bullheaded prejudice.

That slap is more generous than I would have been, and given the trajectory of every other person who ran afoul of trying to mess with Yukito, I suspect Erika's gonna end up sold into bondage or something by her politician relative as some sort of honor sacrifice.

There are many parts of this manga I feel don't mesh well together but this chapter finally has Yukito acting in a way someone in his position would act. Good job author.
