She then tries to double double by offering food the next day. Yeah i know it's a romance manga but the characters can also have personal choices, plus she understood and was even considerate to give him a little treat because of his picky eating. That's sweet and i hope we can see him having some attitude too!

To be fair, after reading stories of people going to conventions and almost getting killed for accepting food with poison, needles, glass etc, I think it's reasonable why someone wouldn't take food for other people.

Yeah I get you but trust me OCD fucks you up to the point where one small insecurity becomes a massive inconvenience and you feel your entire day is ruined by it. For example, in OCD with symmetry, someone will literally fix one side of something to look like the other ( in extreme cases even ruining the item just to make it look the same on both sides )

Obviously this is an extreme but OCD is fucking trash and this guy likely feels insecure about the lunch more than anything because he couldn’t verify it.
