Zero Scans may very well turn around and take down all the old chapters. It's there ass on the line for DMCA violations. The smart move would be to lock the group to only approved uploaders from the members group. AKA, you will not be able to upload under the groups name.

Because at the end of the day if they didn't come to an agreement for that hush money, and just taken them to the authorities or the king the punishment would most likely be the destruction of the guild and execution of everyone involved for what would have happened to the princess without them gaining anything. This way he and the princess have something to gain from it and have the guild grabbed by the balls. The princess can always threaten to tell the king about that incident.
