This only got 13 chapters and Juujika no Rokushit is still up and running up to 200 chapters of concentrated garbage. I swear to god that the Japanese have shit taste sometimes

If you know to read between the lines, several manga give an explanation for this that matches with history. The elites/nobles decide that since they have everything within reach, they should focus more on maintaining their pride, rather than working on honing their taste. In history it's shown by like British Empire nobles eating very expensive things that taste like shit. Shit becomes the status symbol.

I love the idea of absolute immortality being a curse, however the usual drawback is that they are just human and don’t really have any other special powers.

Sera kinda bypasses that by having super strength and having the “cut anything” sword. I’m not a fan of powerscaling but this kind of makes her the strongest character in the world by far.

Well, she’s also a top tier Yuuki-Ray waifu.

The world is interesting and the designs are great but I kinda feel like they limited themselves by making the main characters be so overpowered in a world of generally normal dark fantasy.
