Norio certainly tries to show it realistically without rose-colored glasses, but let's not forget that Anna's career is just one of the backbones of the romantic story between these two and the tone of the manga itself has always been that all the serious problems were not such a big deal and the tension was resolved in one episode. Therefore, I doubt that Anna will be put in a situation where she will be forced to kiss an adult and do this hugging scene, rather the characters will think that they will have to do it, but somehow the situation will either be easier or resolved in a more relaxed way. I would expect Anna got there in her mom's car; I believe there between the last couple chapters there's a point where her mom and dad or on the phone, and the plan was to go to his restaurant after the party the whole time. That's why she walked in right after her mom did.

Ken just got dragged along as well, and I suspect it could have been a plan of her mom's, to tacitly show off her husband/Anna's father, so that if he was tied into the show going forward, he wouldn't get any "funny ideas" about Anna.

I kinda suspect that Anna's mom pulled that stunt to put the fear of god into Ken should he get any ideas about Anna while she's part of the show.

Obviously that's pretty much all conjecture, but if the plan was for the Anna & Mom to go to Dad's restaurant post-party for the dinner from the beginning, then maybe YaMama realized she was getting hit on by Scandal Ken, and took the opportunity to make sure he was fully aware of what would be in store for him should he try anything in the future.

Mostly because I choose to trust that she would never actually go through with anything like that, as that would really fuck with the setting and the tone of everything that Norio has set up to this point, in my mind.
