Man, skipping a quickdraw isn't suicide, that's stupid. It can be dangerous, even deadly, but that depends on where it is and what the rock looks like, there are times you can safely skip more than one, and times when you're not safe even if you clip all quickdraws.
And this whole thing is just pretending like rope soloing doesn't exist, or like "free solo climbers" don't climb with rope and partner >90% of the time.

It's not even about being an emo loner. It's more of a feeling of challenging something hard alone. And if you are to die what most would see as a meaningless death on that path it's fine since you'd die as yourself. Like I said really feeling the Akagi vibes with the message this manga has.

He's the Main character of the Manga that's also called Akagi. It's a gambling manga that shows the adventures of Akagi from age 13 to 20. It's very good also, there's a manga called Ten which shows more of his journey and is the true conclusion to his story. Although you'll need some knowledge on mahjong to understand the complex strategies it's still enjoyable without mahjong knowledge. If you're interested I'd suggest watching the anime first (as it has fan subs that explain some of the rules) then switch to the manga after. Or just start with the manga, as I should still have comments on this site explaining what happened in the comments.
