That's it? That's the chapter? "I walked in on naked girl, got slapped, I'll give her a kid." They used a FULL chapter for this?
Atleast be thankful that it's not like the Web Novel, were half the chapter MC bemoans of being the 8th Child of a Noble, even after becoming Independent and equal ranked to his father.

For a dude that uses the excuse of having reincarnated to justify his differing moral sense to himself ("no big deal I walked in on her"), he sure is easily on board with the whole polygamy, political weddings and marriages lacking love.

Just seems really inconsistent.
Going from a democracy to an aristocracy is easy if you get to be an aristocrat.

==========

Super rich guy can't afford to install locks in his mansion's bathroom. Is it a convincing excuse?

"Eru's a womaniser, so he's no good. She should join your harem instead."

Mangaka need to learn about locks. The "walking in on something in the bathroom" trope is getting real old.
Yeah, but i liked it here in the novel because Well was purposely invoquing it, in the novels he KNEW someone was behind that door, he just forgot Katharina was in the house aswell. I think there even were vague references to the tipical mangas that use that trope like To Love-ru, etc.

At least they keep the part where he digs hismelf further intot eh hole by talking xD

I FUCKING CALLED IT!!!

Sudden thought:

It's possible that she's not after marriage. It's possible that, instead, she's only after a spot as a concubine.

Why?

Because if she was a concubine instead of a legal wife, then her children will bear her family name instead of Bell's. Which means that her children would be able to borrow a bit of their father's (Bell's) power and influence to rebuild their mother's (Katharina's) fallen house.

It'd be a brilliant stroke on her part. She could still be considered as being part of Bell's household this way - being a concubine doesn't mean that it's mandated that you be a pillow woman and nothing more. In Frank Herbert's Dune, Jessica, the mother of the main character, Paul Atreides, was actually a concubine and not Duke Leto's legal wife.

In other words, even as a concubine, Katharina can still play a pivotal role in Bell's house as their political "fixer", earning her own merits, and cashing in on those merits to rebuild her house through the children she has with Bell.

Louise had the best reaction and the best figure. She's also right.

I'm sure Katharina's supporters will be impressed when they hear their precious little lady will become the fifth or sixth or whatever wife in the harem of some random nobleman they might not have ever heard of.

Is locking the door before changing beneath them? Also double standard as last chapter it is her who found them changing.

“If you can’t get married just because someone saw you naked for a minute. In my previous life, there would be almost no woman left to marry”

Author, what are you on? This implies almost every woman in our lives have been seen naked by someone. Trust me it’s not true at all. Speaking from experience.

He implied about non-muslim countries and this is true in that regard.
Just think about boyfriends who broke up before you married a woman, do you think she wasn't seen by him?
Not to mention look at our beaches, bikinis are basically naked woman with some fabric concealing some elements of flesh but otherwise you can imagine them naked easily.

So his statement is real.

There’s no implication it’s about non-Muslim countries. He quite explicitly mentioned women in general.

With a text stating he didn’t think such women existed “outside of a book,” which is most likely referring to women in works of literature commonly being portrayed as a maiden –shy, virginal, modest, never touched or seen.
That is a very classic trope (the pure, untouched maiden)

Literally a common trope used in light novels/manga with the, “I can’t get married anymore,” or, “take responsibility” episodes.

Additionally, there are still various other religions and cultures that still upholds that mindset of modesty –keeping such things only within marriage.

Now when it comes to boyfriends and girlfriends, there are still those who haven’t got that far before having significantly progressed in their relationships. They may make out, give external stimulation or whatever, yet have not directly seen each other naked. I’ve had my fair share of relationships and yet only 1 or 2 would have likely already been seen naked by an ex.

The bikini argument doesn’t really hold up either. Being in a bikini isn’t the same as being fully naked. Private parts are still covered, and to some it isn’t considered the same as full nudity. It’s also irrelevant to the situation in the manga, which was about literally being seen naked. This line of reasoning just shifts the narrative for convenience, because bikinis can be framed as ‘naked’ or ‘not naked’ depending on the argument you want to make.

TLDR; His implication is directed at ‘such modest women’ being fictional rather than religious, while generalising ‘real women that has not been seen naked’ as almost obsolete. On the contrary, a fair amount still holds modest values. And relationships ≠ seen. Bikinis are irrelevant.

Conclusion–This can’t be real.

Decreasing duplication
Okay, i will then clarify. Implication likely stemmed from 1st world countries i.e. Europe, N.Asia, N.America(By their open nature also S.America). Sometimes you just have to understand and assume that a normal person would likely think about his immediate culture AND those who dominate the media space.

His reasoning and thinking that women such as her existing in books is quite normal, i would also think like that BUT not in his situation in a medieval country with religion and nobility present. If I met a woman in my country who said something like that i would be shocked and would say the same thing. (Let's be honest manga is dumb, author cannot divide his japanese brain from fantasy world brain and is creating an unrealistic representation of a guy who lived in another world for 16-17 years)

I don't know where you live or how you live but above mentioned countries have a very small minority of women above age 25 who weren't seen naked by men(other than their family). At some point they were seen during sex, taking photos, creating videos or even unforeseen situations.

If you are talking about religious cultures;countries (Muslim for EXAMPLE) they are not taken into account because they are just lagging behind others. I known few people who have seen how standards of muslim countries shifted to more liberal stance.
Next point YOU LITERALLY HAD 1 or 2 WOMEN who have already been seen.

I don't know your age but by the way you are telling this it seems you on early 20's range AT BEST. The older you go the less the term "i cannot be married because i was seen naked applies". Next up look up the statistics when people stop being virgins and by age 25 vast majority of women have lost their virginities WHICH IMPLIES that they have been naked.
Add to it the ONLYFANS trend, sending NUDES, general hookup culture and well you have our MC's thinking pattern.

As for bikinis once again it strongly depends but many young women tend to have risque bikins that cover almost nothing. Just by looking at California beaches they cover up just the bare minimum before police could get involved. If a thin thread covers your nipples and sexual organ it's TECHNICALLY NOT NUDE but factually you are nude. It's like court technicality.

REMEMBER he said ALMOST no woman, meaning that there are deviations from trend. I have seen more naked women in my life than 5-10 generations of my forefathers. I might have seen little bit more IRL than them (i don't engage in hookup culture, i consider it disgusting) but through the media and summer activities i've seen a lot more than my predecessors 100%.
