Unsure what you mean. Hassaku hasn't reciprocated at all to any of them and displays no romantic interest?
(Schizorant incoming)
i know, but the signs are all there for a harem finale where they all magically live together and all get married because they love eachother oh so much... Im sorry if i'm getting ahead of myself here, but i've been noticing this trend the last couple of years and now its in full swing.
Romcom heroines nowadays are always really nice and friendly with each other, usually best friends or sisters. There is no true competition, no real stakes at play. The MMC usually never has to make any choice whatsoever except whether he wants a harem or not, and he always gets ALL the girls, and they're all perfectly fine with this.
Very boring and safe, so no "besto gyaru" feelings get hurt. Its all just deeply, profoundly CYNICAL. And worst of all, a LOT of people seem to not only enjoy it, but prefer it this way. Makes me angry.
edit: sorry for the rant, but i do really feel there's this trend in most modern romcoms with a harem sub-tag. like, i get it, it's just a stupid manga for teens that want to see cute girls and maybe some ecchi scenes, i really do get it. But there's not even the hint of of a desire to show even the remotest suffering or pain of love or the complicated nuances of human relationships.
Just "i love you, and she loves you and SHE loves you and i love all of you, and we all love each other and everything is perfect" 100% fantasy fullfiling, nothing more.
