I see a lot of scanlators who ain't prioritizing profit coming back here though.

Just please be cautious. If Ko-Fi finds out that you're using them as a digital tip jar for scanslation, then they'll not only ban-hammer your account, but they'll also reverse as many payments as possible, which will very likely leave you in a very bad position. The same thing happened to Setsu Scans when Patreon and Ko-Fi (and I think Google Adsense, too) all got tipped off about them being a scanslation group. They not only lost their source of revenue, but also all of the funds in those accounts.

I don't say it to scare you away from doing it... Just please don't rely on it for anything important. You honestly do great work and I don't want to see you get burned like that.

I don't really post a lot on Kofi, I just put one commission as manga translation comission so they won't have any dirt they could get towards me. Thank you for the heads up though, I really appreciate it.🙇‍♂️
