Thanks for finishing this one

So as an adaptation this finished the whole WN which was 39 chapters (and LN which only got 1 volume in 2018), the end of this was advertised as completing part 1 of it, but the thing is that it been 2 years since this one ended, and 5++ years since the WN finished, and who knows if that part 2 or whatever is even happening, author work of focus for years been Reincarnated Aristocrat anyway

Thanks for pulling out all the stops in your fantastic translation.

Allen died. Rooting for the bad guy is sometimes refreshing. Though I was kind of hoping the little healer would stick around and deliver his research to the alchemy guild.

Honestly, ending here is probably a better ending than most WN get.

You know what. These last 6 or so chapters actually felt pretty good. It's a cool insight into the characters and the world building. It would have been nice if these details were peppered in here and there rather than just being dumped at the end but I'm not sure if this is how the web novel was written.

Nice little bow on a series with a bit of a rocky mid section.

The translations seemed solid from my (uninformed) end. Kinda sad we don't get more, dragons are always cool.
Same :(

Thanks for keeping it up till the end!

The ending is well... feel exactly how it would from axed manga, but at least there was "some" closure.

As for the content of the manga itself - it's refreshing and does many things interestingly enough, one of the better ones from "party exile" trope.

Unless they lean all the way into "the alchemist demon lord really doesn't care about anything other than his research" an open ending is probably the best option.

They killed off the strongest hero, his replacement, and both their teams; Rick is going to keep churning out SS-rank monsters; and never mind what happens once he starts synthesizing those together. The power balance is already completely gone, and with it, any hint of narrative tension unless, again, they lean into some sort of slice-of-dungeon-life genre.

Maybe introduce the biggest bad, whatever god or demon lord-lord is making the dungeon cores and come up with some reason that Rick has to do something about it anyway.

But I'm not sure how much longevity any of those storylines have.
