Because with a quick glance I could only see the kind of videos that everyone copies from each other, and the amount of Paradox content didn't help.

Well, I suppose it's interesting visiting a zoo once every decade, now I know there's no need for me returning to one.
Not sure what you mean in case of RT, but Quarbit was an EU4 tuber for longer than he was a Vtuber

thats rather a unique way to put it. panda senpai where do you find anime/ weeb culture to be a few years from now
Man, I have no idea. There are so many factors playing in that are going to have to find resolution - payment by publishers and production companies to mangaka, authors, animators, and other creative types; continually increasing levels of piracy; Japanese pushback against international consumption/influences on manga and anime; the rise of the Korean and Chinese entries into the field, and ongoing adoption of some parts of the style by Western artists; 'trends' that seem to dominate the output for periods of time (EVERYTHING IS AN ISEKAI); new types of 'works' including V-Tubers and streamers....

Personally, I suspect we're due for another partial collapse of the market in the West, similar to what happened starting in 2006 or so with the collapse of ADV and some of the manga publishers - the market had gotten saturated with second-rate works that thinned out the money too much, and with an economic downturn, that money suddenly dried up. That will likely have some effect on the domestic Japanese market as well, indirectly, but what that looks like is hard to say. I'd like to say it leads to fewer works of better quality being published/produced, but I've been around the circle a time or two now and know better than to think that the appetite for garbage tier output will ever be sated....

@Angry_Panda yes, so many things have become cannibalistic nowadays. They're trying to save everything just to lose everything, and only the better funded/advertised will survive. More or less they're managing so the majority of the population of all countries gets impoverished, so a worldwide recession is just around the corner which will lead to reduce further the variety of products out there. Your favourite Vtuber will be advertising stuff like any other influencer and everything will be marketing-tightened so behind this "entertainment" there's something they want you to buy. Then I'll say, "Welcome to Megazone 23".
