This one seems to follow the old ways of giving us reasons to care about what the MC cares about. It's informing us of the MC's body in an organic way. It's a rare opportunity to see a wonderful cause and effect in an otherwise worn out genre.

They wouldn't have known that she was going to come back, and they wouldn't have known that the soul is the MC.

The uncle's initial interaction with her is already like treating her like a complete stranger. And also somehow they managed to completely get the entire village on board with the charade within just a couple of days (from the time she stayed at the manor to the time she visited the village). That includes somehow teaching all the kids to be incredible actors to pretend they don't know her.

Were you high when you wrote this? Why would the kids who would have been ~3 years old when Lavie died need to "pretend" not to know her? The only people that saw Susie and thought she was Lavie were some of the adults.

Also, not a single person in the village thinks that Susie is somehow actually Lavie. They were just surprised at first because she looks almost identical to her.

That guy is a really big a-hole, gets trashed a bit by susie (1 attack whose damage he cant regenerate) and then gets kicked like a football to her ne father and Rider ... who use hime to went their anger and even when he tries to fight back, he is still more a punching bag.

Uh, the thing about being bite by a vampire is usually the body doesn't age or rot and becomes more resilient/powerful.

I mean the other things are "dying in light, aversion to garlic/holy symbols and needing permission to enter places" but those dont seem to be working here.

Guess the bite killed Lavie's soul but kept the body intact. Susie's soul took over the body but the vampire aspect didnt work since its not the same soul or something.

They need to look real close at Susie's neck. >.>

But that would still be heartbreaking if they found out their adopted daughter is puppetering their biological daughter's corpse. ._.

Lavie's body was buried and probably wouldn't decay because of the vampire bite.

The body Susie is in had to come from somewhere, the fact it looks EXACTLY(not close to, not sorta like, but exactly) like the dead girl to where literally everyone who knew Lavie is shocked on meeting Susie can't be a coincidence.

The fact it was a vampire bite of all things, when anything else would probably discredit the theory, almost makes this confirmed honestly.

No, Susie didn't use Lavie body, they are 2 different person. As a Novel Reader, I can tell you this much.
▪︎The Vampire in this world suck the Soul of the people and its take time to completely suck it all(save for some powerful Vampire), but once it completed the victim died and cannot be resurrected regardless even if Susie used her most powerfull revival Spell. And of course the victim body will decayed normally.
And if my counting is right, in the next 3 or 4 chapter, the Vampires(theres more than one yes) should attcallack again

I forgot which series it was, but one female supporting character explained that the source of her power (spirit user? sorcery? priestess? dunno.) correlated with how much skin she showed. I found it amusing that someone tried to at least lampshade the trope.
