If only Sasha would say "Hey Hyce i'm really sorry it was really a shity thing to kick you out without trying to train you or put you aside from the front lines for a while so we could investigate your skill, or to disregard your feelings about what the promise we made meant to you, i was childish. forgive me".
And Hyce too listened to her without cutting her off for once...

Anyway we all know who is the best girl:

honestly?
I kinda dig his absolute refusal to even listen to her. Even if he's aware (which, seems he is) that she didn't purposefully send him off into the claws of a dragon, the fact that he's held that grudge and is steadfast in just ...not giving her the time of day is something you don't see often in even this subgenre of the revenge style stories - usually the MC caves or at least gets all flustered/stuttery around the person who kicked them out (especially when it's a girl, bonus if she was important like Sasha was), so having him just be a straight-up asshole to her and then to everyone else is enough of a change that I hope it stays that way for awhile.

I'm sure she'll be in mortal peril eventually and he'll have to decide if he's gonna save her life--and if he does, I hope he still just leaves with a "fuck you, later" and the gimmick persists all the way to the end of the story.

And I don't even hold a grudge against Sasha as a character; I just like that the ML's enough of a quasi-anti-hero that I don't want him to "soften" toward her and ruin this image he's got going on.

I do dig the fact that he is acting this way towards her and everyone else because it is refreshing since he is not backing down from how he feels. He is well within his right to act like that too, and eventually Sasha needs to understand she messed up here too.

At the same time, though, the two WILL have to have a true heart to heart about everything, especially since they are high ranked. They might eventually be forced to work together on some sort of quest that only they can accomplish and they won't work well if one of them refuses to talk to the other.

That's kind of what I expect to have in terms of the plot, though.
Any heart-to-heart they have, and any potentially shot at reconciliation, will be directly because of plot events relating to trouble befalling the continent. We already have our demon friend setting up a big Stampede of monsters; that could ostensibly be what kicks off their path toward making up.

But before that, they will butt heads and have issues at first once they're forced to work together. I'm gonna call it and say that the first time they do, it fails spectacularly because he can't work with her, and/or he's such an asshole that she gets frustrated and their mission falls apart on them.

It'll push her to be actually mad at him, and that'll carry on for a bit (maybe actual sabotage on one side's part with missions or something, even), and then they'll either be forced to work together a second time where they have their "okay something's gotta change" moment, OR the demon actually nearly kills Sasha, and only the ML can save her--forcing him to make a choice, wherein he ends up saving the day and then maybe in a moment of real vulnerability she spills her heart to him and they start the process of making up.

I'd personally love if the author found a way for them to maybe be professionally amiable, but otherwise make him absolutely want nothing to do with her, and Sasha just having to accept that her childhood friend is gone from her life in any significant manner. But I do think they'll have something akin to what I posited above, or at least that's how I'd map out the big plot points of their narrative.

I do hold a bit of a grudge against sasha simply for the fact that it took her 2 whole freaking years to apologies for leading him into a death trap unintentionally, that alone is a cause in my mind to be an ass to her, she even left the whole correcting the mistake up to the guild master.

1st para, he will back down even though later he gets forced by sasha, has his dungeon stolen by her, his plans messed up by her, and everyone still supports her, never acknowledging she did anything wrong, everything just goes right for her, and she also never understands she messed up
2nd para, from what i've read, no true heart to heart, when they talk mc silently forgives her, as till this point he had already started doing stuff for her without getting any recognition himself, and the bitch even then has the audacity to tell him, that her decision to banish him was right.

If i made any mistake which could get my hopes up to read the novel or this again, someone please correct me. This seems good but the only gripe I have with this is how much easy Sasha has everything and never faces any consequences for what she has done. Though this likely up till 250-300 chapters, and the WN is at 400+ so idk what happens then or if it gets better, spoilers appreciated.

And what good would a sorry do?
Did she betray the promise they made? yes.
Did she do ANYTHING, to try and keep Hyce in the party, like let's say put him in charge of the party's finances/provisions/etc from the safety of a city, while still working on their once shared dream? no. She instead chose to kick him out of the group.

Did she even try to make a public announcement on why the kicked Hyce out of the party? no.
Was she interested even a bit to see what his being kicked out of a very prominent group would do to his reputation as an adventurer? Nah.

Did she bother to do the least bit of investigation before giving him the location of a "great" herb gathering spot that apparently nobody ever approached for whatever reason even though they could have made a killing gathering them? No, they apparently didn't even bother to do something as rudimentary as asking the guild, whose members apparently knew it was a dragon den.

Did she at least wait for him to wake up after he dropped unconscious and losing an eye from the dragon she inadvertently sent him to die to? No, she left to go to a quest, again as she did the time she kicked him from the party, she put her own self interests first, instead of even remotely considering how Hyce felt.

After all that...do you think she deserves forgiveness? Personally I would be forever pissed off because she caused me to lose an eye...(being a master of modern weaponry without depth perception must suck).

That shit made me laugh so hard. Whether he knew what he was going or not, I wish we had more pages to this chapter just to see what Sasha said/did to him after the ML left.
This is not really a spoiler since manga doesn't really cover it.

She does nothing. She is socially and emotionally impaired bordering autism. She has absolutely no idea what people around her thinks or feels unless directly told to her face. She doesn't even understand why MC is actually mad at her (as you can see how she keeps trying to speak to him without properly apologizing first). But she doesn't really need to since she is more or less the Author's pet so everything bends over backwards to accommodate her
