but it's up in the air on just how much they know about his powers other then they think it doesn't exist (remember only a SMALL few even KNOW Ghosts exist, so his ability comes off as a "dud" and even then they don't know about the bracelet which is his trump card. Her "plan" relies on Haruto being "the foolish weakling they all believe him to be" plus Power does go to ones head if one doesn't learn to not let it do so! Their teenagers and have all that power as the Student Council, you can guess how badly that power can be ABUSED! She thinks SHE has him outwitted, but instead HE has the advantage!).

Haruto on the other hand has likely DONE his research on the notiable ones, namely the ones he unfortunately interacts with (unfortunate as you KNOW their default ESPECIALLY Glasses Default viewpoint on him) he also has the advantage of his ghosts which they don't believe exist, and his "partners" (AKA Bomb Girl) can see and interact do to her "experience" so basically they have an UNFAIR advantage. (though saying that is LAUGHABLE when you remember what Eyebrows plan is). We've yet to see THEIR (Haruto's) side or their plan for the event. Haruto has gotten smarter in how he does his plans (his early plans were based on luck and catching his opponent off guard, Bomb Girl was SUPER LUCK as remember he LOST to her, a mix of her crush on him and as she saw "finally getting to play with him more intimidately under the excuse of "punishment for defiance" was the ONLY reason he got to do her and get her possessed, same with the other girl that was a CLUTCH victory as well. The thing with the two kidnappers was a sign he's starting to get BETTER at protecting himself and as shown with Glasses in the last chapter, he's smart to NOT use his new ability in front of her....even though he knew the Tomboy was going to beat his ass in, which thanks to Bomb Girl who might as well be the FL, that didn't happen. This chapter at the start with his sister was likely to scare the SHIT out of us as we got to SEE how TWO of her abilities worked, and you can TELL she was "thinking of Haruto" as she did what she did to that criminal. Still a mystery on WHY she's obsessed with killing him. But as we see with the SC, their COMFORTABLE with BADLY harming Haruto as long as he isn't DEAD, but how eyebrows described "accidents happening" it may have been directed at "those on his team" as their goal is to ISOLATE Haruto, it's why the second girl was attacked after all, and why eyebrows plan was to use the win to ORDER Haruto to stay away from the other girl. A two for one, as it leads to Haruto being COMPLETELY isolated like before! Though why she panicked is still a mystery, it does seem like Haruto DOES have a means to fight back if she was SCARED of him making contact with the girl who tried to kidnap him. Just not aware of it YET or at all because he's still on the hunt for girls to get on his side.......and his win will likely go into that. He's not stupid because Tomboy ALSO dropped the ball in telling him they're 100% out to get him. He knew as his sister's subordunates they hated him as much as his sister did. But to the level of THIS means he KNOWS they won't play fair!)

Imagine undo also has her traveling back in time until the moment she's undoing, and literally stopping the moment herself. So for Hacking Ghost she'd be seeing the many sex scenes and getting too embarrassed to undo it.

So, speculating about her Undo power, since authors tend to be conveniently vague about how those type of OP powers operate (cowards), I'm imagining she can undo something that happens to material things, unclear if both biological/living organisms and inanimate objects, but not imaterial (like the ghosts). I would also think she does not do it by turning back time in an area or something like that, since there was memory retention. And there probably is memory retention because the person would turn into a ghost and be pulled back to the body again, probably going crazy with the stress.
Also, does she have to see it to undo it? Questions, questions

Her undo might be have a limitation or the MC had the power to messed up her abilities..

Remember she can't revive her dead mom.. and got mad at MC for something we didn't even knew..

It might have to do with the MC ghost manipulating power..

If Hiroto further studies and trains his abilities, he will definitely become an S++ rank ability user. Imagine a power with the potential to defy death, even with "instant death" he will not die because he can control the realm of the dead. He can also able to gain unlimited abilities with the bangle or more advanced tools, and his harem will likely have multiple abilities too thanks to Hiroto's "Hacking Ghost" and the tool to obtain ghosts to become abilities.

It also looks like the sister could hard counter ghost possession if she can just spam Instant Death + Undo.

Instant Death a possessed person --> Ghost gets ejected from the body
Cast Undo --> Body comes back to life and original person takes it back before the ghost does

The villain side is really fumbling hard when they have all these preventative measures to stop the one guy they were told to watch out for.

I'd like to think that they're all nonsensical idiots.

I'm starting to think that the stepsister probably encountered another user with future vision in the past. The user let the stepsister see a possible future where Hiroto becomes completely evil( due to the cult leader which the stepsister doesn't know about) and turns society upside down. Since the stepsister can't kill Hiroto now because the government will ruin her life for murdering someone, she's forced to wait until Hiroto's evilness become overtly apparent in one years time.

But anyway, thanks for the update again, Heat. I wonder what powers does the first S-tier user have to warrant such a title.

Some of the best villains also have hard to understand motives that we only get confirmation of closer to the climax.

IIRC Ririka and her group are considered delinquents. And I don't think the stuco's hubris would allow them to consider that Hiroto could actually be good for anything, especially if the information came from someone considered to be a troublemaker.

It could be as something simple as to stay on the stepsister's good side as her followers since the stepsister has a dominating presence in the school since she's extremely OP. They can't even speak his name in front of the stepsister without her getting pissed and they're willing to go to extreme measures to keep Hiroto isolated without the stepsister knowing about their plans.

It could be something deeper than that. Yamada straight up asked Mayu why she hates Hiroto and Mayu told her she doesn't need to know. Maybe the stepsister in the past told a few of her followers the true reason why she hates Hiroto and they all understand the assignment to make Hiroto's life miserable until his scheduled execution.

Once Hiroto captures Mayu(hopefully), we might understand the student's council's reasons of their hatred of Hiroto.

Ririka's objective is to get her body back. As far as she knows, she needs Hiroto to do that. The StuCo would just get rid of him (as permanently as possible...) and she'd be stuck as a ghost forever

Read this before ch28 and was confused a bit about the whole challenge thing lol.

Hmm I was expecting more from undo so my speculation was pretty much thrown under the bus so to speak lol.

Someone mentioned something about seeing the future about the cult leader... that would be a cool/nice reference to have to another doujin artist who story was similar to this (it didn't have many chapters and everything wrapped up in 11 or so... don't remember the name as I was speed reading though it lmao. should have bookmarked it oh well.)

So far we haven't seen a single character that could potentially counter instant death yet however if it relies on sight on the other hand.... then teleport girl is the one ability he absolutely needs and now we got ability ranks lol what is this HxH but with lewds? XD.

PS: the reason I said reference before is because I read 2 different H manga with similar concept to this one (the name still eludes me but I gave up lol.) the gamer one which is very close to this had the mc conquer the world though sex because just like this series the strongest characters in it were women the mc had something similar to the sharigan from naruto it was useless on its own but it had a secondary effect that only kicked in after... well... if he could water the garden so to speak to someone intact he copies their ability.. in the end incest happens and he gets the ability to control people's hearts (Middle sister ability) and reflect (older sister ability) and conquers the school and it ends on a cliffhanger with mc declaring all of Japan is next XD.

Sounds like something a evil genius might have at the back of their mind and yeah if I remember correctly he does get a following of male students but some eventually get scared of him but can't touch him because of reflect being a passive ability... also if anyone knows what I'm talking about do tell me lol all I remember was GAME in the title.
(And reading this manga brought those memories back.. only difference between the two MCs is that this mc has to use smarts to get by while gamer had a cheat sheet with his eye ability that allows him to see people biological data (and yes this includes their sweet spots lmao) after looking at them for a seconds which in that series was considered a "uselss" ability lol.

Sorry for the off topic but was racking my brain trying to remember the title but it might be one of those super long titles that I forget easily 😅.

But I can see the artist trying not to let the mc become OP, with that hacking ability mc could possibly use historical figures and put them in people bodies or use them himself 😄.
