It makes sense to me, even if it doesn't sound completely natural. Yuki is giving a sarcastic response equivalent to, "I'm not doing anything. Should I be?" I think the issue is that the tenses don't match between the panels. Another way to phrase the second bubble would be, "Am I supposed to be doing something?"

I think Taya saw the girl in the middle of nowhere, so she asked "what she was doing"
but the girl, just staying there, answered "am I supposed to be doing something?"

The only reason that would be your immediate conclusion is because you want it to be the case. Just let the story unfold.

many seems too be confused about sexual idenity of hers. but you forgot one important detail. she is a monster girl. meaning her ideals and such are are the same as humans. for her to date women might be same as dating men because she doesn't care or seeing any purpose in dating.
