I mean, when I was in uni like 20 years ago we still had actual technical drawing lessons - but in all fairness that has little to nothing to do with actual drawing - like you can draw a technical stuff of parts/bolts/stuff with cross-cuts views and stuff with a pencil on a paper like a pro - but when asked to draw a horse you will manage only something like the programmer on one of the posts above.almost no engineering is done on paper anymore, it is essentually exclysively done through cad software, modelling, and simulations, and no, they cannot draw anymore.
