i'm honestly having a VERY difficult time remembering who's who and the relations EVEN with the nametags almost every page

For the mercy of high heaven, I could never remember their names and who is who. This is somehow enigmatic, considering how much manga I've read and the fact I never had the problem there. Author's fault?

In author's defence, she constantly reminds, each chapter, who is who, and I'm grateful for that. But it still doesn't stick

I believe it's because the release is inconsistent. If this series is released weekly, I believe it would be a lot easier to remember them...

but i just batched the last dunno... 5 chapters in one go and i can't recall them, it's something about this manga in particular...

Yeah but I don’t blame them, the author prob wants this to get serialized so have to stall as far as possible

Some of that is on us (ToruScans). The author has put out 28 chapters so far, so we're a fair bit behind.

Unfortunately, the last chapter they posted was on January 12th.

The author posts the series for free on Pixiv and Twitter but they also publish Volumes (Volume 3 is coming out September 12th).

It's probably worth noting that the mangaka, itonoko, is now serialized in Champion Cross with this weekly series: まりも兄弟の茶飯事. I expect that has cut into the time she has for side projects.

I think for me its cause of the time-jumping. Its like what 15 chapters thus far and we jump between them being barely kindergarten age level up to "actual age" of high school. And at least some of them kinda changed a lot between those times.

Also I may remember wrong or just read to much between the lines, but it seemed to me that some of the "crushes" kinda moved around? Or at the very least there was something hinted like guy A liking girl B, but thinking she crushes on guy C, yet now she goes after guy A.

So like its complicated, and the never stopping name-plates actually I think hurt this situation instead of helping it - like you always see them name plates so your brain decides its not worth the effort to memorise it?

Its 15 chapters like I said above, and its like 3 couples with some potential side couples maybe? No wonder there is literally no progress - Its not Imazumi ex porn manga changed into cutesy romance that progresses a lot cause of the fucking where there is one guy and now 4 girls going after him.
