I once again reiterate that there is no way this town can maintain its population at the rate that specters kill them.
Why these comments keep coming? Did no one read the first couple of chapters? The prez explained new people keep coming into the city: people who like the supernatural, those with Bad luck, people who expect to outwit an specter and get something from it and people who are runing from something.

Really hope that's reversible.
But it looks like was correct, they are/did get wiped out. Basically.

now this really sucks considering Hirayama Kiruru was 18 already. Now of course I tried looking up what age people start being allowed to leave town. But frustratingly it just says "adult".

Now even then, Satake as the youngest member is entirely the reason they couldn't just go out of town and play somewhere else at least for the next 3 to 5 years depending on whether adult means 18 or 20.

Either way what a terrible way to go.

There ain't NO way that influx is enough to keep up with multiple deaths a day.

It's fairly obvious that the logistics of the town don't (and can't) make sense.

Funeral homes would be overwhelmed by the amount of dead. There would be extensive rioting because the uncontrolled population loss would lead to mass chaos. There's just almost no part of society that wouldn't be extensively impacted.

I think the author is just expecting us to suspend our sense of disbelief. If you can't, that's fair.

Yeah, seeing as the “legal” adult age fluctuates between 18 and 20, but if it was 18 then some high school seniors would be able to escape and that doesn’t seem to coalesce with the vibe of this curse. What I really wanna know is what Kumagai-san’s excuse is. He has an Imina, indicating he was born in the town, he doesn’t seem insane or obsessed with the occult, and yet he’s survived till 35 and hasn’t fled yet? Madness.

There ain't NO way that influx is enough to keep up with multiple deaths a day.
It’s already been established that the town itself is a supernatural entity, so population sustainability isn’t a deal breaker here. The club president has already come back to life. And nobody said that there were multiple deaths a DAY. Anyway, a supernatural entity just turned the cute vocalist of the band into a dismembered backup singer: suspension of disbelief is in effect to the hilt at this stage.

People, remember that, although we are constantly seeing specters and deaths in each chapter, it doesnt mean that:

1- they are happening every day

2- they are happening everywhere

For all we care and know, this just another case of all the events being self contained incidents around the mcs

Because the adults can leave.

And I bet you they've either got The Foundation containing the area or the government themselves created this whole mess.
