Could it have gone for 1000 more chapters? Sure, probably. But I think I would have loved it all the same. Hell, even if it had ended 100 chapters ago. The formula is so perfect that the chapter count really didn't matter much in the end. This series healed my soul.

My only regret is not seeing the rest of the cast. I need my best girl Vanilla. Praying for some sweet volume extras to fix that.

I was partially expecting a reprisal of the first torture of Toast but this was fine. I would be lying if I said the end of this series won't leave a hole behind in my weekly reading, but it was a relaxing fun ride. I only hope we get some kind of epilogue omake chapter sharing the rest of the cast.

I just realized that this is a great manga about Stockholm syndrome. A great, wholesome cute, and incredibly addictive manga about Stockholm syndrome, by the way. But seriously, a big thanks to the author. When I first watched the anime, I never thought that I would end up getting so carried away by the manga itself.
