I have two questions. A) Does the author of Akebi only illustrate the LN and not the manga adaptation? And B) Is the motorcycle hobby in Japan not as gendered as in the West? Or is the depiction of biker girls in this manga rather idealized?

Um, the Sukeban, the link about who you sent me, were originally the all-female version of the male Bosozoku biker gangs. Even the article itself mentions this. But anyway, I'm talking about ordinary biker girls, not historical subcultures.
