I found it strange that nobody appeared right away in the previous chapter during the crisis, especially given how closely everyone monitors Akane and remains vigilant about her every move. This made me wonder if the events were either a nightmare or a deliberately orchestrated scenario designed to discourage Akane from asking questions and make her more compliant with whatever explanations they provide.

i mean she got hired despite her reason for leaving/taking a break from her last job so i imagine the president lady thought of her as a good pick (tho while the other nurses have been standoffish, esp regarding the fact that her son? is living in the mansion, i'd think most of them don't necessarily have a death wish/aren't half assing their job otherwise even if they act like everythings normal unless they somehow knew kiwako before all this started)
