She already tried to kill him once, and she was able to get their parents separated it's pretty normal to be scared of her, she's also a family member which add to the complexity of "why my sister would kill me just to be with dad?". Also informing everyone wouldn't do much, it will be good to put the seed of doubt in people but why would people doubt their relationship? Especially after how her mom and dad separated, the only intelligent thing he could have done here was to record her conversation, so unless he did that, there is not much of a proof to do something.
