You can't imagine the amount of under 18 high school students that were on dating apps in the golden years of mobile dating apps, there are plenty of articles about this. Many used to put 20+ of age range to avoid matching or simply seeing those who were listed as 18-19, and if we move back when there were chat rooms with nule control...

just sign up on other sites that's not necessarily an app or read about posts about 'cruising spots' or try to sneak into a gay bar or so, but even before the apps i'm sure there were adults luring troubled runaway teens and such
