Also I would believe that what doesn't fit Rura and she rips them by ahem "situational circumstances", she sets aside so she can patch up and sew back so she can pass it down to her younger sisters. Yeah maybe she doesn't wear the ripped clothes she buys, but it doesn't mean her sisters don't get the sewn back up clothes. I do think Rura can sew (because she is in Home Economics club, which is not just cooking).
