Not in japan though. PDA like kiss actually views as negative in reserve society or in Asia. handholding or linked arms actually is as high you can get in there.

if you want to do it, do it outside people sight. even married couples didn't randomly kiss in public, let alone on lips, even cheek is no-no. but you probably get hugs from family/parent/children in public.

'im' not good at picking out clothes.' suits aside i guess men doesn't have many variety but wouldn't be surprised if like a light blue tee/top looked better in jp than around here. (tho there is that one manga that always glazes Uniqlo)

nothing wrong with thrift stores but i wonder how much you could buy in one outing on a mangaka salary (tho it is implied she is successful and not too indie/struggling from what i remember)

i guess 'you look good in anything' isn't too bad but surprised she wouldn't say stuff like 'this brings out your eyes' if not something that goes with his body type so it's not too tight or loose. Tho with the 'color' theory with seasons or so , unless it somehow makes your skin look 'washed out'/sickly you should wear whatever colors you like, i mean fashion stylists are still a thing i imagine. tho interesting when ppl say 'it suits you' as a compliment, makes me wonder what they think wouldn't suit one or the opposite of what you expect
