This chapter's pretty different from the other two. Feel like it's probably more important than it seems, and'll probably come back at some point, especially when you take the line about the afterword potentially coming back into account.

This reminds of that 100 Ghost Stories Before my Death manga and how you could make connections between the content of the stories and the bigger narrative of the kid telling them. The first chapter had the ghost woman not showing her face while at the same time the author avatar of the manga doesn't show his face either.

Now we have an story where the main character is doing something that he doesn't remember doing, whereas the mangaka feels some sort of "connection" to these stories, not to mention that said stories use the same art style he uses
