for me, it wasn’t even that scene that did it. It was the one in the side story chapters where Lutz and Tuili both swore to do their best to support Myne. I dropped the book and cried so hard I literally fell over.

While I admire your enthusiasm for sharing the series with fellow fans, I'm on the "should have let TOOR finish it up" camp since they've already given us a plan for the final volume. Also, a couple of spelling errors that will hopefully be resolved in QC next time.

With that out of the way, I'm super pleased to see how this scene was drawn. The anime's animation (/ lack thereof) was always a weak point and the art here is a definite step up. Plus, it's always refreshing to see a magic duel that doesn't just rely on bigger capital letters.
