As an citizen of the U.S, I want to ask about the cost of bananas in Europe, or if they're even sold in the grocery store.
My household is currently out of bananas and I am upset that I forgot to get them from the store yesterday.
(Other banana related questions) Have you ever eaten a Gros Michel? Nam Wah? Only Cavandish?
Of course the price in grocery stores varies depending on the company, but either bananas or national bananas (in Spanish, "plátano/s") are all usually always below 2€/Kilogramme. For instance, in the one I'm checking they're at 1'55€/Kilogramme and 1'9€/Kilogramme for the national product (check "Plátano de Canarias"). If, instead of supermarkets, you go to traditional markets they may be a few cents more expensive, depending on the product the flavour difference is more noticeable.

Thank you for the information! Bananas are sold for around $0.55 USD per pound in my neck of the states ($1.21 USD Per Kilo because I like converting things, or 1'03€/Kilo)
