There's no way they slammed out a new page (sketching, line work, backgrounds, coloring, shading, etc) and some new dialogue this quickly (in under a day?). The original chapter had to have been uploaded by mistake and the apology is just playing into reader engagement. Or they uploaded the original to increase engagement with the series through controversy and they always planned to change it to this one after a short while.

In other words, they always had 2 versions of this chapter. The most generous explanation is that they were testing the waters with the NSFW version.

shopkeeper in here had similar symptoms to the dragon lady but weaker, he was doing the deed with the shopkeeper in front of the other to not only help her but also get a discount, while it was wild i didnt really care as they weren't in a relationship, author can tell the story they want to tell, it's understandable if you want to listen to viewers but always tell what you want to tell, there will always be people who like and who don't like it, just do what you want, those who like it will stay with you
i myself don't like ntr but i don't think their relationship was like that already, the rerelease is still fine imo but tell what you want to tell author

well, looked around, found the original version, and my verdict is all you idiots are idiots, go touch some grass making mountains out of an anthill. I can understand being unhappy with the author bending, the story runs a risk of being distorted over time, as there's now precedent. BUT not everyone is an emotionless bot that doesn't care about the verbal abuse others throw at them, so personally, I can excuse it once.

And the MC boning the catgirl really is inconsequential, maybe some lore that catgirls are frisky... Dude's clearly a stereotype, a playboy cleric, and he clearly gets to smash plenty. My source? It's that I made it the fuck up! And as others mentioned, they're not even romantic (yet), so yall calling it cuck shit are just cuckbrained idiots When they get together or develop feelings for each other, he can become exclusive for the pure romance route. But so far, she's not interested, only caring for him as a teammate. That I didn't make up.

While I wasn't exactly a fan of the first edition's take on the story, it's kind of sad to see it go. Author should make the story they wanna.

Reminds me a bit of the Tsumiki manga (cute romcom, non-h) where people got so angry about a character being an implied potential NTR-er of the main couple that they had to address it in-universe a few chaps later (it was fine and people are just overly sensitive to a char with a charm aura).

The revised chapter is better plot wise imo but ofc the readers that enjoyed the smut are mad its removed LMAOAOAO.

I read the story for plot and for the art so OBVIOUSLY i didnt like the first version but the comments took a big 360 compared to the first version which is crazy, How 70% of the comments complain about its becoming NTR and cucked but when it gets revised the author is a bitch and pussy for changing it? didn’t like the first version because I thought that the dragon girl and cleric had reached a turning point in their relationship (in a good way) intimately, and it kinda went away with the shopkeeper, really liked the second cuz it seems more of closing the distance/wholesome chapter, and felt better to read plot wise.
