While I have some questions about Seigidar, I have more questions about Karendar.

Also. I see. Not exactly a Prisoner's Dilemma, but something along those lines, where the winning answer is for all parties to side with one another but the doubt of whether or not all members will move alongside you leads to doubt or paralysis and to potential betrayal. They could easily escape, possibly even go and see if they can find and save Misako. But instead of coming together to save each other, it's going to break them into infighting possibly, maybe after they start being paranoid about one another, especially since their personal circumstances are... well, personal and also unknown to each other. Therefore they have no means of knowing if they're lying or not... Not to mention they have a more severe time limit on their hand. After all, their source of light is on limited battery. That might also come to create panic and conflict leading to unwise decisions and unfortunate circumstances.

It might also end up showing us more about what happened with Takakura. I have a sneaking suspicion these guys are more involved with his death than they let on somehow. Though it could be a red herring...

Anyways, the only thing we know for sure is they're all screwed. Every single one of them and their loved ones will also not be saved from the troubles that ails them.

I was also wanting to not read this until the part 2 was released for sure because I feel it's a better read going from setup to payoff immediately, but I couldn't resist. Ah well.

Well, strictly speaking no, but in between getting arrested for assault and battery and the risk of the stalker injuring you, killing you, or just plain kicking your ass, superpowers would help.

Also, yeah, the leader's death is sus as heck. Probably something to do with the lone woman of the club, who I hope survives this ordeal.
