Gotta say I'm surprised at the limited engagement this is getting. I know it's pretty corny at times (that 4 swordsmen spread ugh) but it's also quite well executed and it feels like there's a solid amount of logical world- and plotbuilding there. Like it's legit twice as enjoyable a read as Dandadan for me and yet here we are. Guess the time for brooding, non-quirky shonens is mostly up.

id argue the bureau has still lost more. its been alot of nameless grunts whove died, but the "strongest" of hisaku are still making significant headway to the sword saint, and like he said they still dont have the full picture of their plan

considering some if not most of Komunabi's talented/top sorcerers and fighters are out there defending the other 2 sword masters that is not in HQ, they stretched themselves thin.

and they did put their most powerful fighting force they had on hand in the 'ring' but the 'hisaku' outplayed them and skipped that level entirely and go straight into their 'belly'.

still, both sides seems to have more cards that they can still play and if i remember right, the top brass are also top-rated sorcerers but they used most if not all of their powers to bind/seal the swords' power and kept the most dangerous sword master in stasis too.

What would they do then? They have to try the cards they have in hand, which is sealing it in the warehouse, that seems a lot better than just defending against them.

idk, story still seems easy enough to follow

Chihiro wants to take back his dad's swords, teams up with the Kamunabi to seal away the strongest one (Shinuchi)
Hishaku seems to want the Kamunabi to have possession of the sword, presumably so it can be used by someone to take out the Kamunabi from the inside
The original sword master contracted to the Shinuchi is implied to be dangerous and will probably break out and cause problems in the future

That's not the point. All mangaplus titles have more readers/comments on their site, but you can still compare relative popularity between their series here. Unless you believe readers of one series are more likely to comment here than others, which I doubt.
