Honestly, it looks like they all downplayed the scar. It isn't cute, after all.Why is the burn mark missing from the last illustrations?

Burn scar in fiction is just a red make up spot, a birth mark. A charm point.Honestly, it looks like they all downplayed the scar. It isn't cute, after all.
In character, it's something that could probably be covered by mundane or magical means if she felt like it. And probably necessary to do so if she's trying to incognito.
Anyways, this was cute.
It's also the upscaler i used because i only had the small picture from twitter so i had to make them bigger.Honestly, it looks like they all downplayed the scar. It isn't cute, after all.

Nice Holystone (Baccano) is at least borderline disfigured. It's kept mostly hidden by hair, but it makes sense that she would do so.Burn scar in fiction is just a red make up spot, a birth mark. A charm point.
I know art is hard, but could some artists for once actually draw scars as they actually look like, instead of just character features that actually improve their looks... Can't think of many examples, where disfiguring scars are actually that, Balalaika from Black Lagoon is the only thing that pops to mind.
