Except, I forget what chapter it was, the author stated that Kogahara was/has fallen for Sunao without Lemon inside, so he genuinely won her over. This confession only confuses her further; she might try to deny her feelings outright, might go for Lemon, might test if she has any feelings for Sunao at all, but I believe all this does is makes Lemon and Sunao guaranteed due to a horrible misplay on his part.
Eh, she kinda liked him but she says rather explicitly in this chapter that the movie date really got the ball rolling for her. I think this is gonna be used as a convenient way to get Kogahara to drop out of the race (I'm confused, I never actually liked him, that kinda nonsense) and leave the path open for Lemon. I would have put my money down on Lemon ending up with Glasses-friendo-kun, but this seems to be the direction of travel for now.

It would be wild if this story began with Sunao reminiscing about the relationship trauma he experienced with Lemon and then ended with Lemon getting together with the girl he's been in love with for ages.

It'd at least mean the JP transliteration title makes sense, said from Sunao's perspective. That, and "closed loop" on how we began and whatnot.

The bigger issue, is if they just...decide to fully stop caring about this bodyswap macguffin. The fact it's been all but discarded as "a thing we should maybe keep looking into" by the characters has me feeling like I'm taking crazy pills, because I cannot see how Sunao or Lemon think it's at all reasonable for Sunao to be pursuing a relationship with Kogahara while they're continuing to wake up in the other's body every other day.
Maybe the angle is that it'll just magically solve itself when some unforeseen condition is met, but. It's just been abandoned as an active plot point, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why when they're still actively trying to hide it from most people.
