There are more than just two perverts in this story. Nikaido and Itakura openly admitted it, but we know about Kiyota and Shirakawa.
Nikaido's nose is something else. I kinda want to know what Shirakawa smells like. Not as a pervert, I am legit curious if Shirakawa releases sadist pheromones when Kiyota is present.

It wouldn't be an issue if it was just a momentary thing but it wasn't. She continued to do it purposefully to feel more of it. She even says she will do more but story kinda tries paint it as a quirk you can't control (like being a germaphobe) but its really not. Reveling in others misery just makes you a shitty person.

"Get what they deserve" is a rather common idiom for a reason, its a very standard human thing to enjoy seeing someone you know is shitty get what they deserve.
Now deliberately going out of your way to make someone miserable over a long time is different for sure, but saying it makes you a shitty person to revel in others misery is quite different when its seemingly a deserved thing.
If i kick someone in the leg, and then instantly fall and hit my face, i feel it quite weird to consider the person i just kicked a shitty person for enjoying seeing me hit my face.

Well if it's bad enough to compared to MTL , then I have no qualms if someone better take over the series. Even you can. One of my older series got a better translator and I dutyfully removed my chapters .
Admittedly I can't read hiragana, just kanji and katakana even that isn't completely. Some sfx like "gyu" (I read it as giya) translate to "hug" or even phrases, (one time I mistranslated "itadakimasu" that's says something) , they just don't come naturally to me.
I know my Japanese/english is bad, but I can accurately pin point where I am wrong, then I just mentioned it in the end note , let someone better to tell me correct it.
Would I ever Improve my Japanese, "NO" I just learned it to read Koroshi Ai , so it's pretty casual, So I won't & can't (civil servant) .
one of the main reason I stay away from new series for that matter popular ones too!
So if it's bad enough I agree to hand over this series to whoever willing.

You can go on with this series if you wish, because I already read it and the ending is just meh. I doubt anyone serious will take over. And you'll probably make the dexers happy, because they don't know any better.

Also, pretending to be able to read katakana but not hiragana, I can only consider it a lie. Most Japanese common words, verbs, etc, are written in hiragana and you saying you can't read them just proves you're using an OCR and machine translation.
